sweet and funky

Sorry for the long hiatus. We've been doing a fair bit of travelling and wedding-attending, so meals have been less than interesting (think cereal for dinner).

roasted pear and gorgonzola salad
The roasted pears turned out very nicely. I think I've never properly roasted them before. I think the tomatoes were a misstep, or just a little on the oldish side. I made a simple balsamic vinaigrette to go with the salad.

In theory, I'm pretty ambivalent when it comes to salads. But whenever S makes one, I wind up eating every last leaf. -- D
